Pallet Rack backstops

 FAQs

  • Pallet rack netting is used to prevent stock and materials from falling off pallet racking in warehouses and storage facilities. It improves warehouse safety, protects staff, and helps meet compliance with AS 4084:2023 standards in Australia.

  • While pallet rack netting is not legally mandated, it is strongly recommended under AS 4084:2023 (Steel Storage Racking) and WHS guidelines. It supports your duty to reduce risks from falling objects and workplace injuries in warehouses.

  • Absolutely. We provide custom safety installs including walkway tunnels, rack backstops, guardrails, and more. If you need a non-standard solution, we’ll assess your site and design a safety system that fits.

  • Back stops are rigid steel bars that prevent pallets from being pushed through. Netting, on the other hand, offers both push-through protection utilizing wires and better containment of loose or irregularly shaped items. Zonex can install both depending on your needs.
